How to fund a Gempak99 account from your phone with Malaysian e-wallets and DuitNow, what limits to expect and how to handle a pending payment.
Supported routes
E-wallets are the fastest way to top up from a phone. Which wallets appear depends on the current cashier, so open it after logging in to see today's list.
Malaysia's most used wallet. Deposits are quick and suit smaller amounts; reload the wallet from your bank first.
Popular alternatives when listed in the cashier. Both approve payments inside their own app.
Works from almost any Malaysian banking app and moves money in seconds, 24/7.
Sometimes offered for deposits; availability varies by promotion period.
How to deposit
If a payment stays pending, do not send it again straight away. Check your wallet history first, then contact live chat with the reference number.
Limits and timing
E-wallet deposits usually have a low minimum, which makes them good for testing a new game. Withdrawals are normally paid to a bank account in your own name, and the first one may take longer while your details are checked. Keeping your account name identical to your bank name avoids most delays.
For bank-based options such as FPX, see our new DuitNow and FPX deposit guide.
Compare
All five are instant in normal conditions. The differences are how you top up the wallet and the daily limits it allows.
| Wallet | Reload from | Speed | Notes for casino deposits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Touch 'n Go eWallet | Online banking, debit card, 7-Eleven | Instant | Wallet limit depends on your verification tier (Lite or Premium) |
| Boost | Online banking, debit card | Instant | Smaller user base; check the cashier before topping up |
| GrabPay | Card, online banking, Grab driver top-up | Instant | Useful if you already hold a GrabPay balance |
| ShopeePay | Online banking, card | Instant | Appears during selected campaigns |
| DuitNow QR | Directly from your bank account | Instant | No wallet balance needed; works with most banks |
Limits
Touch 'n Go Premium accounts can hold up to RM10,000 and Lite accounts much less, so a Lite user may need to upgrade before making larger deposits. Casino cashiers usually set their own minimum (often RM10–RM30) and maximum per transaction.
Example: you want to deposit RM150. Your TNG wallet holds RM100. Reload RM50 from Maybank2u inside the TNG app, wait for the balance to update, then start the deposit in the Gempak99 cashier and approve RM150 in TNG. Keep the TNG transaction ID until the casino balance shows the amount.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Payment approved but balance unchanged | Delay between wallet and cashier | Wait five minutes, then send the TNG or Boost reference to live chat |
| "Transaction declined" in wallet | Daily wallet limit reached | Use DuitNow or FPX for the rest of the day |
| QR code expired | Took too long to scan | Start a new deposit; do not reuse old QR codes |
| Charged twice | Retried during a slow connection | Live chat can match the duplicate and return it to your balance |

Fees
Touch 'n Go, Boost and GrabPay do not usually charge for paying a merchant, and DuitNow QR is free for most personal accounts. Reloading a wallet with a credit card can carry a small fee, so reloading from online banking or a debit card keeps costs at zero.
FAQ
TNG is one of the most common wallet options for Malaysian players; the cashier shows whether it is available for your account today.
Most delays are caused by the wallet app waiting for approval or a network drop. Check the wallet history before retrying.
Withdrawals usually go to a local bank account. Check the withdrawal tab for current options.
Usually around RM10–RM30. The cashier shows the current figure for each wallet.
Use only your own wallet. Third-party payments can delay withdrawals because the names will not match.
TNG and DuitNow QR are both instant in normal conditions. DuitNow QR skips the wallet top-up step entirely.
It is shown in the cashier next to Touch ’n Go and is usually a small amount, often around RM10–RM30. Check it before you send, as campaigns can change it.
Open the withdrawal page in the cashier: the methods listed there are the ones you can cash out to, usually your linked local bank account and, where shown, Touch ’n Go. The name must match your Gempak99 profile.
